Full Stack Software Engineer
As a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Cutr, you'll build fully-fledged platforms using a range of different technologies. You'll be involved in the entire product development lifecycle including the design, development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing features. You'll write clean and functional code on the front- and back-end. You'll collaborate closely with our development & product teams to ensure system consistency and to create a great user experience. You'll write reusable and maintainable code. You'll also perform UI tests to optimize performance. Ultimately, your work will have direct impact on the stability and user experience of our products.
Our tech stack at a high level:
Our infrastructure is deployed on GCP managed kubernetes
Our web server is written in express.js, with a PostgreSQL database
Our frontend is Vue.js, and our "Cutlist" tool is React.js
This role is Amsterdam or remote in locations that are near/compatible with Central European Timezone. We are not able to offer relocation or visa assistance for this role.
This is a full time, 5 day a week position. Unfortunately, we can not consider candidates looking for part time work.
You have between 2 and 5 years of full-time professional software engineering experience
You are comfortable with front-end and back-end languages. You have worked with Javascript, databases, web servers, and designers
You have experience with testing and debugging.
You're analytical and good at time management.
You have great communication and problem-solving skills.
You are ambitious. You want to quickly grow your career at an early stage venture backed startup and make a big impact on the business.
Salary range for this role is €55,000 - €75,000, depending on location, experience, and market conditions

1. Initial chat with hiring manager - We'll chat about the role and goals (yours and ours).
2. Code exercise - You'll work through a coding exercise with a couple members of the engineering team
